with Lindsay Adler
Fashion photographer Lindsay Adler has risen to the top of her industry as both a photographer and educator. Based in New York City, her fashion editorials have appeared in numerous publications including Marie Claire, In Style, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and more. As a photographic educator and having been named one of the top 10 best fashion photographers in the world, she is one of the most sought-after speakers internationally.
In this jampacked seminar, Lindsay will talk about and demonstrate the tools and techniques to allow the beauty of the human form to shine through your photographic artwork. When photographing the everyday person instead of models, you are often asked to photograph and flatter more challenging features – round face, pronounced nose, large forehead, double chin, assymmetrical features, bald head, glasses, defined wrinkles, full figured and curvier clients, and more. It is imperative when you photograph them you are able to do so with confidence. In this workshop Lindsay will share her secrets of how posing, lighting, camera angle, lens choice, clothing choice, and Photoshop all work together for successful imagery.
Whether your photography focus is wedding, portrait, or intimate boudoir, understanding how to flatter the body is essential. Lindsay will lay down a solid foundation of posing and styling so that you can make your clients feel comfortable in front of the camera.
