In this class the subject will be a small private plane. Our options for photographing after dark will be battery powered strobe lights and continuous light painting. We’ll explore both methods shooting tethered to an iPad to see results in real time.
If you have ever wondered about using CamRanger and an iPad, don’t miss this class. And if you have heard about GoDox’s Pocket Lights and would like to see them in action, come along for the ride. As the night gets darker, we’ll experiment with a variety of small flash lights for light-painting the subject.
Creating interesting images at night requires good pre-visualization skills, good working knowledge of your light sources, (including light volume and light color), and intent. But night photography also requires some luck and good amount of trial and error to achieve great results in the dark of the night.
